Cinemachine dolly track camera gets off track
I'm testing Cinemachine cameras in the 2017.2 beta and I noticed that, while moving on the dolly track, at some point the camera seems to lose the track and slowly goes below it and, a couple of meters later, suddenly makes an upward movement towards the track and follows it as it should. It also does it in the opposite direction: following the track backwards, it quickly moves below it and then slowly moves up and goes back to it.
It always makes the same curve, always at the same spot and I have no idea why. The track is a straight line, no curves whatsoever, it's just starting from a high point and descending to the ground. The camera aim and follow targets are the same and always moving at the same height.
Does someone know how to fix it, or at least debug it?

Hi hec_91, we have occasionally seen this behavior too. We are looking at it and will get back to you ASAP.
Does the offset go away if you set all the offsets back to 0 ?
Yes, it does.
If this can be useful to you, the value I had on the Track Offset was (0, 0, 15).
I'll just have to wait then. Thank you very much for your answer and for all the good work!
Yes we know what it is. The current offset settings do an offset in tangent space - meaning if you go 15 on Z, it doesn't go 15 units down the path, it goes 15 units forward of the camera - not the same thing!
We are changing the Z path offset in Tracked Dolly to ins$$anonymous$$d be a Path Position offset, which we think is what everyone wants VS a Z axis offset.
It's being looked at, we'll update you when a fix is out.
