Script to make specific parts of my object bright ?

I've got this object (made on Blender) and i want that those two parts marked of the object bright like a lamp between those colors every 2 seconds:

Yellow - Yellow
Red - Yellow
Red - Red
Any Idea of a script to make this ? alt text
