My new computer can't render Unity GameObjects
Here is a screenshot of Unity looks like. The camera is the default camera, no settings changed. As you can see, the objects are not showing, only their shadows. The sphere is completely invisible. When I build the game, it only displays a blue screen, but if GUIText changes, that is also displayed. But when I execute the same build on a different computer, it works fine. Did I do something wrong in Unity? Am I missing something on my computer?
Have you tried closing Unity and opening it back up? Restarting your computer?
@flamy: a "2D project" only changes the default scene view mode and texture import type; it does not change rendering in any way.
@erich5h5 yeah realized and verified it thats y removed the comment, my bad!!
@Sildaekar: Yes, I even re-installed unity. I think it's a problem with just this project. I can see game objects in new projects. But I don't understand why my build works on other computers but not $$anonymous$$e.
Yeah, that's odd...try creating a new project. Then (through your file browser NOT UNITY) drag and drop the Assets folder from this project into the new project (overwriting the old folder).
