Easy question about 2d platformer mechanic
I am trying to emulate how the main character uses the jump+headbutt mechanic on my current game, but I can;t seem to figure out to make falling speed faster during button press, and reset it when the character is grounded.
Any help would be amazing!

How are you moving the character currently? Are they accelerating under the physics system's built-in gravity, or are you manually applying a downward force/velocity/translation in your script?
