laser pointer
i'm making an fps where i have a flashlight with a laser pointer mounted on. but when i tried to use a narrow red spotlight it came out a bit weird. it was still to big and when i aimed it at a wall it illuminated the whole wall. how do i make the light so that it only lights a small area and stay the same size?

You want to use a cookie on the light with a small aperture. This will allow you to succinctly tweak the shape of your light against the geometry using your image editor (instead of futzing with the controls of lights in unity.)
the light gets smaller when i aproach a wall am i doing something wrong. im using a spotlight with a light cookie on it.
How good are you with shader program$$anonymous$$g?
