Problem Displaying PNG images with Transparency (or perhaps single colours)
So I have used Unity 4 with no problems and just upgraded to Unity 5.
Now whenever I import a PNG image as a sprite the sprite looks ok in the inspector but some of the colours disappear in the scene.
Here are some images to show what I mean. In the scene I placed a white background to show the effect more clearly.
It happens to every image and seems to affect very pure colours i.e. colours that are made up of only one colour. Anyone any ideas?
I tried changing different settings pixels per unit, Filter $$anonymous$$ode etc but nothing works.
Ok I have an update to this problem.
I changed every setting that I could and if I change the material of the sprite from Sprites-Default to the particle shader it will look a lot clearer in the scene but still far from ok.
So then I ran it on a phone to see how it looks there and it looks fine.
WTF?
What could be causing a sprite to look fine in the preview and when running on a phone but look terrible in the desktop scene?
