Rig a model from scratch in Unity
Is it possible to rig a 3D model or a 3D mesh in Unity from scratch, the same way you would in Blender by creating armatures and bones? I would like to rig up a model in Unity from scratch instead of importing an already rigged model from a software like Blender. Unity already has a 2D Animation package that lets us rig 2D sprites/images and would like to know if there is a similar package for 3D objects. Also, it seems the newly released Animation Rigging preview package only works on already rigged and imported 3D models.
