Laserpointer portals
Hi everyone,
I am trying to implement an experiment as someone with no prior experience with C# or Unity. My goal is to create a game where the player tries pointing with the HTC Vive controller at a given plane. The ray he casts through the first plane should exit another plane in the room (portals). The first plane shows the camera view of the camera which is at the exaxt same location as the second plane.
So if you place the camera facing towards your back and yourself facing towards the first plane, you could point at the back of your head :)
I'm not quite sure if this is possible in unity and i have no idea how to start or what exactly i should type in the search function.
All help is really appreciated!
