On 2D platformer, how to have the screen going after the player?
If my question was slightly convoluted, I will give a more competent interpretation of it here. So I am creating a platformer that has the player jumping from platform to platform with a timer, and I don't want the player to be able to stand on one platform the whole time. So how would I make it that the screen is going after the player, and when the screen catches up to the player it kills him?
If you still don't understand the question, I will be happy to give another interpretation of it.
I am open to all help. Thank you so much.
