Some users only see a blue background and black models when trying to run the game. Why?
Many users are able to play my Unity game without a problem: http://i.imgur.com/3RtNYIR.png
But about 1% of users report a strange issue where they can only see black models on a blue background: http://i.imgur.com/uLWJDUc.png
This occurs in the windows standalone executable version of the game.
Is this a known issue? What's going on here?

I think he has one, did you check the first image ?
What shaders are you using? Doing anything complex that could not be supported by certain graphics cards?
I'm using Unity's "toon shading" shaders, and I don't think I'm doing anything complex; this issue has existed even since before I added any post-processing effects to the game.
As its only 1% of users affected, I would be inclined to agree with tanoshimi, whilst you might not be using any advanced shaders, the people experiencing the issues could have very old rigs. If it was 99% of people experiencing the problem I would be pointing the finger at the game settings / config.
Probably worth finding out the system specs of the people with the problem, you will hopefully notice a correlation in the GPU type or something along those lines

I am having the exact same problem! The problem is that people who use "newer" Laptops have 2 graphics cards, in my case i have a Nvidia and the standard Intel Onboard Chip. While i told Unity to use the Nvidia Card, which now renders everything as expected, the Webplayer refuses to use anything but the Intel "Card"! Messing around with the Nvidia System Driver thing (dont know how its called in english :P), like setting the global settings to use the Nvidia Card on every program does not work... what could i do?
I found out that the bug was only being experienced by users with an Intel graphics card. I made a build of the game without occlusion culling, and it was able to work for Intel users. Intel cards can't do hardware occlusion culling.
The solution might be to use a plugin that controls occlusion culling through software.
