2DRaycastHit vs 2DOverlapArea Performance?
I'm looking to implement some automatic deceleration just before impact. To accomplish this, I have two ideas. Either cast a ray out in the direction of the movement, or create an overlap area check.
Since each moving object could be making this check at any given time, I was just curious if there was a significant performance difference between 2D.RaycastHit vs 2DOverlapArea?
