Gently Restricting Helicopter Rigidbody Movement
Basically, I have a helicopter with one major propellor in the middle and four all around it. The middle propellor keeps hovering and will always flip the copter back over no matter what it's rotation is as long as there are no other forces at play. When the player presses "w", the back propellor activates, making the helicopter face down forwards and move forwards. It works in theory, but I need the helicopter to only rotate about 45 degrees in either direction. At the moment, it does somersaults because it just keeps adding force.
Is there direction-independent way where I can just say "if the rotation is less than 45 degrees then keep on propellor-ing?" I consider myself fairly experienced and proficient with Unity, but I have not been able to come up with an answer to something that should be so simple. Thank you all in advance.
