SketchUp Importing .dae Mesh Broken
I have been exporting .skp files to .dae files so that I am able to import them into Unity. The colors generally work out well, however, most of the time the mesh is unable to be used as a single mesh, but only as small parts of the same mesh. This does not occur on all the models I try, but only about 60-70% of them. I have tried grouping them and making them into a component in SketchUp.
Has anyone had a similar problem or know a solution to this?

Have you tried importing these files into other software? Do they import as you expect?
Generally speaking Unity 3.5 Collada support should be quite solid. If you're having consistent problem and you think it's a bug in Unity, then please submit a bug report (through Help menu) and post a case number here.
