¿Como se hace para poder levantar y lanzar objetos en 2d?

Hola buen dia, soy nuevo en unity , quiero hacer un juego en 2d como el tropa guffy, y quiero hacer que mi personaje hecho con sprite levante objetos y los lanze pero nose como hacerlo, he hecho una animacion con sprite de mi personaje para que levante el objeto y otro para lanzar pero como hago para que el objeto se adjunte y valla con la naimacion, podrian decirme la forma o como se debe hacer. muchas gracias de antemano por su ayuda
