What would happen if you updated a game from a different unity account?
I have a couple projects on google play and the app store that use unity ads, and was wondering, what would happen if i released an update for them from a different unity account? would the ad revenue go to that account? would i end up with some revenue going to one account, and some going to the other?

According to the documentation, Unity Ads associates an application with an account or organization that you set up. So as long as the Application ID on the app store is the same, and the organization associated with that app is the same, it should still continue to pay out as it always has.
You'd have to set up a new store ID or change the organization in the Unity Ads portal to change who gets paid.
when you say "you'd have to set up a new store id", do you mean store id through unity or through apple? and could i "set up a new store id" linked to a different unity account? so the other account gets paid?
Well, probably because I was being vague, since it's depends on so many different factors: - whether it's the IOS or Android store - how you set up the unity ad service - whether the project is compiled with the same settings or not
But what is constant is, pushing a new version of an app to an existing listing on a store, won't change anything, even if that version is compiled by someone else.
For details relevant to your specific situation, you'd have to dive into the knowledgebase and read up.
Okay, so you're saying that if i publish an update from a different account, the project will still show up under the first unity account in the unity developer console and operate dashboard, and ad revenue will continue to go to the first account, regardless of the fact you just linked the update to the other account? If so, how can i push everything to a different unity account? So that it shows up under the second account, and revenue from apple and google play goes to the second account.
Hold on...after $$anonymous$$ONTHS of trying to figure this whole thing out, i just today realized something HUGE: the whole reason i wanted to move my apps to a different account was because my other account has unity plus on it, and i wanted plus benefits on my apps. However, i thought that unity connected your licence to your unity account, but it actually depends on your computer, so no matter who i sign in as on my personal computer, i still have plus benefits! Thank you @ceebeee thank you for you help, i now understand that there is no purpose in doing what i have been trying for so long. Cheers :D
