Blend Shapes in Unity?
Hi all, I was wondering if it's possible to use blend shapes in a rig, and then have those shapes brought in to Unity for animations. My guess is no, but if anyone has used blend shapes for animations in Unity I would love to hear about it. Fyi, I'm using Maya to rig stuff. Thanks!

From the other question - Does Unity support poseDeformer or blendshapes? - No.

MegaFiers now has a Maya exporter for Blend Shapes making it very easy to add to your Unity project. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gCVUvDBL5Gc

Since 4.3 unity supports blendshapes natively, and you can easily animate them with the faceshift plugin: http://www.faceshift.com/unity/

If you're working in 3.x then Craig Perko provides a solution. As stated in the video this solution is obsolete since the introduction of blendshapes since 4.2.
