Scale resets when importing to Unity from Maya
I have an object in maya with these transform settings:
but when I export this to unity, the scale is all messed up. How can I make it so that the scale of the imported model is (1.2,2,0.05) and that when I would create a cube inside unity with the same dimensions, it would look exactly the same.
Thanks!
When unity import a object it import using scale of 1. In $$anonymous$$aya use "$$anonymous$$odify > Freeze Transformations" to make the scaled object scale become 1 without changing the object.
And there is no way to make the scale show up as (1.2,2,0.05) (in my case) in unity?
You can after import the mesh, create a prefab and set the scale in the prefab, you can also create a game object and put the mesh as a child and change the scale of the object and create a prefab from the parent object if you need work with scale 1.
