How to manage different versions for different platforms?
I'm new with Unity.
I'm creating game. I want to build it for different platforms (for simplicity PC windows and webGL). Windows version is working fine, but on webGL game is lagging. I have an idea to simplify the game on webGL (mainly reduce the number of items that appear), and set info in menu that it's only browser version so it's not as good as desktop version of game.
Here is my question. How to manage versions on different platforms when there are differences between them? Should i do different projects for different versions of game (one version for windows, one for webGL)? The versions for all platforms should be identical and should I optimize the game at all costs? Should I use a separate tool for this (maybe github)?
Thanks for all replies ;)
