Application for Windows Phone 8.0 crashes after opening a link in phone browser.
I am making a game in Unity 3D for Windows Phone 8.0. I have a button for "Like Us" on my application's home screen that navigates to my facebook page. In this button's event, I make a new WebBrowserTask and use it to open the required URL.
The URL opens fine in the phone browser. The problem occurs when I click back button after opening the URL. The control does not come back from the browser back to the app, but instead the app crashes and the Visual Studio shows the error "access violation exception".
I am using Visual Studio Ultimate 2013 and Unity 3D Pro version 5.2.2f1. Given below is my code to open the URL.
WebBrowserTask webBrowserTask = new WebBrowserTask(); webBrowserTask.Uri = new Uri("https://www.facebook.com/abcxyz", UriKind.RelativeOrAbsolute); webBrowserTask.Show();
Any suggestion on why this might be happening?
