Drag to move movement like the iPhone messenger game EverWing

U can play the game both on the browser facebook messenger, and the iPhone messenger. So just imagine that the cursor in the video is the finger swiping on the screen.
I want this kind of "drag to move" movement in my game like in EverWing, where the "player" doesn't follow the finger instantly, but is actually a bit faster than the finger. As you can see in the video, the player doens't follow the cursor, but knows that when he drags to the right, it moves right, and left, it moves left.
