Update object properties in editor
So I have an object called a "ToggleCube" which can be active (with a bright green material and the collider enabled) or inactive (with a transparent material and the collider turned off) which toggles on and off every time the user presses the left mouse button.
Everything in the script that manages this behaviour works fine, I just wanted to be able to change the public bool property named "Active" on the object in the inspector and for it to update in the actual game to make level designing a lot more efficient.
I'm not sure how to do this though. I tried using a Custom inspector script that would do it for me but all the variables (like the active and inactive materials and the active bool) have apparently not been assigned and it just doesn't seem like the best way to do it.
