Should the NetworkManager component reside within the same gameObj as LobbyManager? NetMan+NetMgr? Best Start MM practice?
The mplayer lobby/matchmaking docs are vague and demos are scattered/somewhat outdated.
As I read bits and pieces from different projects and demos, it's almost as if NetworkManager and LobbyManager are within the same gameObj - which I thought was a no-no . Can anyone confirm this?
Also, I can NetworkManager.singleton.StartMatchMaker(); to start MM, however, I have a feeling this is old info. is there a better way to do this? I also feel that it's not ACTUALLY starting it because the built-in GUI will still wait for me to start an internet match or something else - however, I can't find docs of what to do past StartMatchmaking().
Then - NetworkManager asks for offline and online scene, which seems redundant with the LobbyManager also asking for the same.
It REALLY feels that I should NOT have a NetworkManager when I have a LobbyManager: Can anyone confirm this please?
Bonus: Have a link to a CURRENT lobby asset project/sample/doc that focuses on staging, LobbyManager, and matchmaking? The docs just aren't there :/
