unwraps from 3ds max
Hello everyone! Im trying to import some .fbx from 3dsmax made with unwraps but when it get to unity it doesnt open properly... We tried importing them without the unwraps and it works pretty well, but as soon as we import it with the unwraps its not visible. does anyone know why this happens?

I'm assuming you mean the UV(W) map...
So, apply the modifier, then you'll have to find a way to export that, or you can import in to another program, like Mudbox or ZBrush. In here, "Paint" the model.
Now, import the FBX, find the folder where it auto saves the UVW map, and import that as well, assign it to the material it auto-created in Unity, and then it should map on fine.
If you want to do it without Mudbox/Zbrush, then it's a little harder...
So, in the Unwrap UVW, you can click like Edit UVWs or something, click that big button, a screen pops up... Make sure you unwrapped it right (Click the third button at the bottom with like little boxes on it, and then ctrl+a and then click the option Flatten Mapping in the menu up top), now, it'll do its thing (Push OK at the prompt), now, you want to render this (JUST the UVW). Now, do all the things you need, now take a screen shot, and edit with a program how you want to, and import same way as above...
I'm going off what I remember, in a Lab right now, so not in front of my computer in the dorm.
Good luck! =)
