No .xcode project when building to iOS in Unity 2018.2.3f1

I have built my Unity game many times with the result "Build Succeeded" in console, but the build folder created is always empty. The only place I can find a .xcode project is under Temp--> Staging Area --> Trampoline, but this xcode project has errors and doesn't run. What should I do?
