How to make a flawless rhythm-like mechanism in mobile 2D?
Hello,
I am currently trying to make a mobile game that has a rhythm-like feature which is: hitting a moving object at the right certain position/area. I had a logic for it as follows:
Get an object with collider and a bool to move with lerp update
Get an object with isTrigger collider and a rigidbody as the area
When the moving object collider enters the area collider, the bool will set to true and enables the walking object to be clicked
With that logic, I thought it'd be easy enough to do it. However, I seem to suffered of reading the click input, as it sometimes clicked the area or the moving object when they on the (roughly) same position.
Tried asking friends for any suggestions and one suggested me to use a timed in a certain position so that it only has collider in the moving object. It did give better performance, but it still quite happening though less than previous.
Is there any way to fix this? Did I missed some point for the logic? Or is there any better alternatives to make it better? I have been making it for a whole day and unable to figured out how to fix it.
Thanks in advance.
