Apply same transform animation to separate objects
Hi, i have 9 separate objects in different positions but exactly the same shape i.e. 9 balls. i want to apply an animation when they are clicked. but the animation is only in one direction i.e. only move the object in Y axis and get it back in the same manner. is there any way to create one animation and apply it to all nine balls according to the clicked object so that the animation is applied only to clicked object and move it along the Y axis? I have read parenting but i guess it is for moving multiple objects together and not just one object at a time. sorry for bad English, maybe this question very simple but i am new to Unity. any help is appreciated, thanks.
the animator animates a transform relative to the parent and it sounds like your balls have none which means all behave the same.
give each ball a parent gameobject and they should animate in respect to it
