How to dynamically play audio from a folder?
This ought to be pretty simple, but appears to be borderline impossible in current Unity. I just need to be able to either during runtime or when the game is launched, load and play soundtracks from a folder.
.
I also really need to be able to actually play common audio formats like .mp3 at the least not only .wav
.Is there any work around for this at all? I haven't had any luck finding any previous questions on this recent enough to work today.
.Also I really can't just use some ancient half-functional plugin or a paid Asset, I'm specifically looking for how to code this myself in order to have full control over the functionality.
.
Edit: For clarity, this is a question about actually playing audio in unity (or bypassing unity optionally, but not ideally), given a file path. I've got the rest sorted, it's just that loading and playing a file is a bit of a bitch.
