unity 2020 preserve full collada names
Hello together, I just wanted to update my project to the latest recommended release (which is 2020.3.28f1 so far). But there is one key difference to the 2019 version that makes my project completely useless: If I import colllada files in 2019, they will be displayed in the hierachry view as shown: This is absolutely necessary. Because Unity does not provide the required abilities for collada objects after importing, a script handles the additional requirements for many different collada files at once. To identify the objects and subobjects of one collada it uses the names from the collada file: But in the Unity3D version of 2020 (as mentioned above) the hierarchy looks like shown in the first picture. As a result it is impossible to identify any object.
Has anyone stumbled upon the same problem and maybe found a solution?
