Unity shading artifacts
As you can see, those lines are appearing on my model and whenever I turn my camera around with the fps controller the lines change position so the model has weird lines showing on all the surface. It is like the effect you get in blender when there are 2 meshes overlapping, but there are no meshes overlapping here, so what could it be?
Also it only appears on the build but i can't see it in the unity editor
It's a bit tough to tell from still, heavily-cropped images, but that appearance makes me wonder: Could those be shadows hitting at heavy angles? Realtime rendering isn't a perfect process, so shadows especially tend to have/need a lot of fixups to look as good as they do as often as they do.
Plus, they're something that can easily differ in exact settings between editor and build.
Yea sorry for the pictures since the project is not entirely $$anonymous$$e so I can't share that much. The shadow effect you are seeing in the picture is not still or dynamic but quite random since the lines appear and disappear everywhere at and quickly. Thanks anyways
