ETC2 fallback works for sprite atlas?
Hi. I have made a test project and used profiler to see how this fallback setting works on my android phone.
For a single ETC2 texture(512x512), it shows Texture2D memory usage are reduced. Then I used legacy sprite packer, then sprite atlas, all have no effect. The atlas always fallback to 32bit, using the 16bit or half resolution setting. And I can only set that in Build Setting, no override ETC2 fallback in Inspector for each atlas. Who knows the right way to do this? thanks.
