How Does One Make TextMeshPro InputFields Scroll Appropriately When Their Text Components are Bottom-Aligned?
While using the now-native TextMesh Pro tools to construct scrollable InputFields, I've run into an issue that seems outlandishly simple, but for which I haven't been able to find a solution for days. In short, after I create a TMPro InputField in the inspector (UI -> TextMeshPro - InputField), that field is perfectly editable and scrollable, but I run into issues when I wish to bottom-align the associated text component.
When bottom-aligned, text becomes unviewable when it exceeds the top of the textarea/viewport, and I'm only allowed to scroll down into empty space, the height of which is equal to the amount by which the text component's height exceeds that of the textarea/viewport. I can pseudo-resolve this by editing TMPro's TMP_Input Field script, and adjusting the OnScroll behavior, but I'd obviously love to avoid doing something so dirty if there's a more legitimate solution available. Thanks in advance.
