attach box collider to fbx gameObject
I have been working in maya to generate gameobjects for my unity scene but i'm having trouble attaching a collider to the fbx. The collider is used to trigger different animation but it only works in the start/idle position. As the object starts to move from its start location the collider stays in the start location. I can continue to click on the start location to change the animations because the collider does not move with the gameObject. How can I move them together??
I'm worried this is happening due to the structure of the gameObject in maya. The gameObject has a joint system which is skinned . Lots of parenting as the mesh is also attached to a motion curve.
On one of the many threads i've read it mentioned adding the collider deeper in the gameObject hierarchy. If the collider is not attached to root/Highest Parent it does work at all. Meaning it does not trigger animations at the start location.
