Android soft keyboard does not popup

Question

I have to use some Android native Java code to create a View including a EditText. But when click on EditText field , the soft keyboard doesn't popup. Are there any way to let the keyboard show up normally? Thanks in advance!

yupp just create it manually through the iPhoneKeyboard classes static function
