I want to make a 2D player controls script for a mobile game that detects where the user touches the screen. I will divide the screen in 4 triangles and move the player up, down, left or right depending on which triangle he presses. The triangles are obviously not displayed on the screen.
The camera would follow the player by the way. In the screenshot, the center dot is the player and the divisions represent where the player will move depending on the area touched.
