email notification from the asset store
i was just wandering if its possible to receive emails from the unity asset store telling you when there is an update for an asset you own, in most cases it doesn't matter, but sometimes it would be nice to know when an asset gets updated
You know you can get a list in Unity right? On asset store you can view the list of things you own with the down arrow button - then do a Group By Status and it shows you them nicely in a list.
Have to say I'd like the email too though...
yh, i only wanted the email notification as i took some time off because i had to wait for an asset to update (gamedraw) until i could start using unity again as their was a bug with prefabs caused by the asset, and i needed to use the asset i downloaded hence why i bought it.
would of been nice to know if there was an update with out logging in again though, ok so i was working in blender during the period i was of, and could of easily loaded it up, but I'm lazy and like to make a fuss.
GameDraw totally screwed me up a while ago - am waiting to try it again.
its not to bad now, prefabs are fixed theres still a few bugs but in all its much more stable. i wouldn't use it in a big project without testing it out first though as you can easily mess everything up if your not used to it
I love the idea - I really want it to work. I'm no modeller but sometimes it would just be nice to tweak stuff. It's those bloody modified meshes it left everywhere that were killing me.

as of yet it is not a feature in unity, i might post a wish for it, but i doubt theres many who would want it.
I would want this. As an asset publisher myself, I hate it that my customers will probably never use my most recent version, while those versions often fix critical bugs.
