Two groups of cubes break static batching
Hello! I've encountered a problem while attempting to static batch two separate groups of cubes (yellow and red ones). Cubes are generated from one prefab which is set to "static". If all cubes are red then static batching works fine (batches number is low):
But if one group of cubes is altered by changing the color - static batching breaks and performance drops dramatically (batches number is high): I change the color with "SetPropertyBlock" instead of "renderer.material.color" because that way doesn't create new material instances and should keep static batching working (as far as I know). Apparently it somehow doesn't work.
Does anyone have some suggestions what should I do to not break static batching? Thanks in advance!
