Add 2D Lighting to Scene based on Tiled

Sorry if the question is extremely broad, but I'm looking to make a 2D RPG game on Android. I want to add lighting, but as far as I know, I don't know how to go about this at all.

I'm currently using Tiled to create my maps too, which makes it more complicated I assume.

Is there any way I can go about this? Tremendous props to whoever solves this.
