Can't find the Standard Asset Packages on my Unity 2017.1.1f
A tutorial I'm following told me to import a physic package by going to Assets -> Import -> Characters. (pic1) The problem is I don't even have a submenu. The only option under import is Assets -> Import -> Custom Package... (pic2)
as far as I know I must import standart asset from asset store & it import all of them. including files I do not use.

I'm fairly certain the standard assets is available for redownload in the asset store. Try that and access the Character folder in there.
