How do I keep the Animation > Add Property window open to add several bones at once?

In the Animation window, I click "Add Property" button, then drill down into the character's body part or bone and add the transformation to the Dopesheet. However, after I click one to add, the box disappears, and I have to drill into the box again. This is inconvenient, for example, to animate walking. I would like to add the thigh, shin, and foot transforms and rotations all at once. But since the box disappears, I have to drill into it 6 times to add all the properties.

How do I keep it open until I'm done adding all the bones I'd like?

this may be a late response, but i'm looking for an answer as well. this is ridiculously time-consu$$anonymous$$g to add all the bones one by one. anyone have an answer? i wish i could just import my blender animations, but they're totally screwed up in unity... and i can't seem to fix that either
