Realtime Reflections in VR - Cross-eyed
I am currently using Realtime Reflections: https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/tools/particles-effects/realtime-reflections-21730
It is light, easy to use, and looks accurate. However, this isn't set up for VR and I don't think the developer will be updating anytime soon. The effect is calculating per eye but then overlaying them as one which produces a cross-eyed reflection.
One workaround that was suggested was to duplicate the Camera and target individual eyes. This means rendering the scene twice and produced an immediate drop in frame rate.
I have also tried reflection probes, when set to realtime they aren't very good/computationally heavy. This is for car mirrors so I can't bake them
Has anyone had any success in getting realtime reflections to work properly in VR?
