Is is possible to get trace / log info from Mono?
I'm having a DLLImport issue. I get the typical System.DllNotFoundException. Trying to debug using the suggestions found on a mail archive which suggests:
If you are getting DllNotFoundException when loading an unmanaged library do this:
export MONO_LOG_LEVEL=debug
export MONO_LOG_MASK=dll
run your app
You should get trace information on the library names that the runtime is trying to use and the errors in loading those libraries.
(See http://www.mail-archive.com/mono-list@lists.ximian.com/msg09033.html)
Can anyone suggest how to do this within the Unity Editor environment?
I'm not familiar with this setup, but did you try running your Unity game from $$anonymous$$onoDevelop?
Run->Debug in $$anonymous$$ono will open up an instance of Unity and run it in Debug mode. This will also respect Breakpoints set from within $$anonymous$$ono.
Well, my problem is I want to put a trace on a system call. Namely, Type.Get$$anonymous$$embers(), to get a sense of the scale of reflection going on in a project as it's hard to unravel.
