Steamworks.net works for pc builds but not for mac builds
Good day.
I have a game, using "Steamworks.net" to sync with steam.
In editor, all works fine, in windows builds works also fine. But for Mac OS X steam does not sync... I know its not a "Unity" problem, is a Steamworks.net, but i can not find a solution in other sites..
I tried to put the txt file (with Game ID) in almost every folder in the MAC version.... Someone knows something I'm missing?
Alse checked this Unity Answers Post. but nothing ( or i did wrong)
Thanks in advance! (free copy of the game if someone give me the answer! :D) Bye!

I'm having the exact same problem. When launching with Steamworks.net on Mac, my game crashes instantly on the first screen. Have you found a solution yet? I've been trying everything. Considering just backpedalling a bit and installing an alternative.
@doomdream have you found any solution? I'm having exact same problem (even upgrading to S$$anonymous$$m SD$$anonymous$$ 12). The game hangs on S$$anonymous$$m initalization and 1 $$anonymous$$ute later it crashes with log:
/Users/buildbot/buildslave/s$$anonymous$$m_rel_client_osx/build/src/common/pipes.cpp (770) : Assertion Failed: fatal stalled cross-thread pipe /Users/buildbot/buildslave/s$$anonymous$$m_rel_client_osx/build/src/common/pipes.cpp (770) : Assertion Failed: fatal stalled cross-thread pipe /Users/buildbot/buildslave/s$$anonymous$$m_rel_client_osx/build/src/common/pipes.cpp (770) : Fatal assert failed: /Users/buildbot/buildslave/s$$anonymous$$m_rel_client_osx/build/src/common/pipes.cpp, line 770. Application exiting.
As "tormentoarmagedoom" already said in the question this is actually an off-topic question. Only some people building games with Unity actually plan to publish on s$$anonymous$$m. In addition only a tiny fraction of potential players are actually on $$anonymous$$ac. So I wouldn't count on replies of other developers.
Also you bumped this question but you haven't included a link to your submitted issue on the s$$anonymous$$mworks.net github page which would probably be the most useful addition to this question here. Bother the developers of the library, provide them clear examples which do not work. $$anonymous$$aybe you just setup something wrong.
Also did you check the other issues regarding $$anonymous$$acOS? There seems to be people that have the opposite issue. For them it works on $$anonymous$$ac but doesn't on PC.

I am having this problem with Fizzy Steamworks in 2020. This problem only occurs once I've exported my game and then downloaded it from online. Since I'm only using a test Steam ID, I think it might have something to do with my Mac not trusting the software? Either way, it's very confusing as it works perfectly on my PC. My issue might be different from the original posters, but I'll upload my solution once I figure it out.
