Make the cube have the same color as the background every 3 seconds

Hello. I made my background change to a random color every 3 seconds, and I cubes been instantiated at random colors too. I want one of the cubes,at every 3 seconds, be the same color as the background. I tried lots of things but i couldn't get to what I wanted. Someone could help me? I'm using c#. Thanks!
