How to create recoil/bullet spread for weapon?
I'm starting to make my first FPS animation/game and want recoil/bullet spread when continuously firing my weapon. Should the recoil/bullet spread be an animation I make in blender or should I create a script that rotates the gun slightly every time it fires, with the values increasing the longer I fire? The latter seems easier to make for me, as I can already envision what the script will be like, while I'm not 100% sure how to create recoil through animations. So should I create the effect through script, or is there be a major pitfall that I'll run into using this method? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
