Unity crashes when building to iOS
Every time I try to create a build for iOS, Unity crashes with this fatal error:
I have tried: 1. deleting the project, then reimporting the project. 2. Deleting the Xcode project and any derived data 3. Currently the project is on 4.2.1. I tried upgrading to 4.5, but I still get the same crash to occur.
If I open a new project and unity, I can build that an run it on a device.
Well, that says Unity is out of memory when doing something with a texture. Probably worth rebooting the machine, load the project into Unity and trying again. If Unity still runs out of memory, then perhaps resize all the textures by 50% and see if that helps. (I know you might not be able to ship a game with low-res textures, it's just a debugging step to see if reducing the memory needed by textures enables the build to succeed.)
