Sprite drawing.
I'm learning Unity having already coded in c# using MonoGame. In MonoGame I could allocate an object a sprite but I would decide when it was drawn. I'm early into learning so I might be missing something obvious, But when I give an object a sprite via the sprite renderer in Unity it appears in the game no matter what. If I try to remove it, the object is deleted from the hierarchy. So is there a way for GameObjects to not always be drawing or in the game at all? All I want to do is give my object a sprite so that when I spawn the object in I can see it. I don't want the object to be in the game from the very start, I want to control when its in.
