Web player : fullscreen : ready for primetime?

I have a project that has to rock-solid and I am seeing some strange behaviors with the web-player fullscreen feature. I use a button to activate fullscreen. What I notice:

dual monitors : the fullscreen is split across the two monitors.
Internet Explorer : It doesn't work and causes IE to crash.

Are there some workarounds for these issues, or should I hold off on even using this feature?
