Where are the terrains? :) - moved project
Dear Unity-users :)
I have been working on a game for a while now, and due to unrelated computer issues, I had to reinstall Windows, and thereby the current Unity project was gone, of cause. I had saved the project on my external harddrive to import it back on the computer when it was finished installing Windows.
I did as I have seen in posts here in the Unity Forum, that I should. I created a new Unity Project, and then I moved the folders from my external harddrive/harddisk to the new Unity Project folder. My Assets folder and my GameSettings - some said I had to import library too, some said I should not, so I tried both.
It worked - sort of... After importing the project, it seemed as if the things were there, I could enter the game and the scene, with my prefabbed controller, my music was there ect - the only problem was that all my terrains were gone. When not in playmode, the terrains were also invisible, but they were there in the project. I could see the name and they all stood as if active, but they were invisible, and I could move through them in playmode.
The problem is that I have put a lot of work into my terrains, and they will be hard to recreate. So how do I import the project proberly, so my terrains are there.
I hope someone can help me :) - I'm sorry if the post might me a bit confusing, english is not my first language...
Best regards
