Unity Oculus VR: objects that are held when reloading the scene can not be picked up in the next scene
I have a gun in my game, and players often die while holding it. If the player dies with the gun in their hand, the scene will reload and the player will no longer be able to hold the gun. The gun becomes parented to the hand on hold, and when the next scene loads I can still see the gun parenting to the hand when it is grabbed, but it won't move at all.
