[HELP] 3rd person view C# script for a sphere with physics(rigidbody, mouse look, rotation)
I am fairly new to Unity3D and I'm hoping someone can explain to me how I would complete the task I'm about to mention. I'm looking for assistance on how I can set up scripts to perform a sphere to have a 3rd person view with the keys WASD rotating the "forward" position with the camera being able to be moved by a mouse cursor. I currently have this system set up but it is on a Capsule Model using the Character Controller component. I would prefer to use a sphere with RigidBody physics rather than using the Character Controller component. The link below is a short 30 second video showing an example of what I mean with the Capsule Model.
Ignore the random frame drops near the end of the video, that is unrelated to my point https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EV7X4gmZzyo
I would have a camera with fixed update that add force to make sure camera always keep a perfect distance. When camera collide with object, it would reduce that distance but still add force to camera
